Barry has over two decades of experience as a software engineer, leader, and entrepreneur. In 2015, he founded HappyPorch, a web and software development company dedicated to supporting the transition to a regenerative, circular economy — one that benefits both people and the planet.
Barry believes that addressing global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and biodiversity loss requires a fundamental shift towards circular economic models. He advocates for the thoughtful use of technology as a key enabler in this transformation. Through HappyPorch, Barry and his team partner with organisations to develop intelligent, purpose-driven software solutions that unlock business opportunities while advancing the principles of the circular economy.
